Banner Frames, The Stand of the Future.

The folks here at Esigns are always looking for ways to be more awesome. When we're not printing banners we are thinking of ways to help you guys out.

Honestly, sleep has been lost over the problem of how we can be better.

Well after several pots of coffee we came up with these. We are proud to announce the coolest thing to happen to mesh banners since the grommet. Banner Frames. Go on, check them out, I'll be here.

Those things are cool aren't they? They are made from fiberglass and weigh less then 30 lbs. Don't worry, these things are made to last. Each one comes with a digitally printed mesh banner. Each banner is secured with the included zip ties so your banner won't fly off into the sunset.

Set up is so easy that our Shipping Department Manager's sentient beard can do it while watching Firefly on DVD.

The frame assembles with just 4 bolts and the included Allen wrench. Just drive the two studs into the ground with a hammer, about 12" deep and slide the frame on top.

See, Simple.

These are great for anyone looking for a permanent looking sign or where you can't easily hang one. Let's say you have a family reunion and you are in charge of getting a banner. Well you want to wipe that smug look off of your older sister's (who is not prettier) face and a banner hanging from a couple of trees is not going to cut it. Set one of these up and suddenly you are the favorite daughter.

Now, that may be an extreme example but you get the idea. The frames are so easy to set up and take down that they can be used for really anything. You can display your banners where you never thought possible. They are a great way to show off a little league team's dugout or announce a school play. They can be used by commercial realtors, construction companies, really, the possibilities are endless.

Thank You, for Making October Great

At the beginning of October we started a promotion that would let us, with your help, participate in the fight against cancer. I'm excited to announce that our Pink-Ribbon promotion was a resounding success!

Esigns Delivering a Check to Help Find a Cure for Cancer

I personally want to tell you how great it was to go to Karmanos and give them the check in person. It was the feeling of coming full circle being able to give back to them after all they have done for my family.

And that's what we've become now, isn't it, a big Esigns family? Maybe it's too soon to call it that , but that's how we all feel, here on the other end of the internet/phone line. Especially when we all gather together and accomplish something like this.

We were able to raise $3,000 between customer donations, employee contributions and Esigns matching funds for Karmanos Cancer Institute! Please consider this an enormous Handshake or High-Five (your choice) to express our sincere thanks.

But that this isn't over. We'll be doing this again next October, because there's more to be done. In fact, the pink-ribbon coupon code will continue to work all year long, and any money raised between now and then will get added in to next October. The unofficial goal right now is to triple this next time. Crazy dream? Maybe. Worth getting excited for? Absolutely.

Esigns is Upgrading!

We just finished setting up what is quite possibly the coolest thing ever. We have a new printer. Not just any printer mind you but the biggest, baddest, most mack-daddy of all printers. Please welcome the Vutek GS3250r.

I call it Steve.

This thing is super cool. In an earlier post, we had talked about the difference between RGB and CMYK colors, in it we stated that printers use the CMYK color spectrum. Well this printer takes it one step further. Instead of just a 4 color CMYK colors, it uses a 6 color CMYKLcLm.

For those of you that aren't blown away yet, let me explain. By adding two additional colors, we greatly expand the colors we can print. This means that colors will be more vibrant and skin colors will be more accurate. You will receive the same Esigns.com quality you love, only it will be even better.

This also means that we can offer two two sided banners our customers have been longing for. An added bonus that comes with the new printer, is that we are upping the resolution that it prints at. Higher resolution means higher quality prints and that leads to more awesomeness for you.

I'm so excited for this and I don't even get to play with it.
